HENDI Water filter XL is especially recommended for use with: convection steam ovens, coffee machines, ice cube machines, vending machines, dishwashers. This is important to extend the life of water-powered catering equipment. Thanks to the filter, you avoid the accumulation of scale residues and corrosion of equipment components. Reduces unwanted smells and tastes, chlorine and water hardness and has a bacteriostatic effect. Helps improve taste and protect appliances from scale.
Water treatment technology: – Reduces water hardness and the content of calcium and magnesium ions that cause scale formation. – Reduces carbonate content by removing calcium and magnesium carbonates.
The filter consists of the following parts: – The first activated carbon filter removes larger particles, chlorine, organic substances and other compounds that worsen the smell and taste of water. – The ion resin filter reduces the carbonate hardness of the water. – A second activated carbon filter removes smaller particles. – The final filter removes particles suspended in the water.
Built-in filter head with adjustable bypass 0-70%; a separate filter head is not required. To ensure bacteriological safety, the filter must be replaced 365 days after installation or when the maximum filtration capacity is reached. The maximum output depends on the carbonate hardness of the water and the bypass setting.

Fill the cartridge with cold water only. Working pressure: 2–6 bar. Connection: 3/8" male thread. Installation and use only in vertical position. Hoses, valves and connecting parts required for installation are not included in the set.
