HENDI Water filter XS is especially recommended for use in vending machines / soft drink machines. It is important to keep the vending machine in good technical condition. Triple filtration technology prevents scale build-up and corrosion of machine components. Filtered water with an optimal pH level is also the best basis for hot drinks - it brings out the real, multi-layered and subtle taste of coffee and tea. Recommended use by model: – 237892 XS and 237885 S: for vending machines and soft drink machines. – 237878 M, 237793 L and 237861 XL: for convection steam ovens, coffee machines, ice cube machines, vending machines and tabletop dishwashers.
Reduces unwanted smells and tastes, chlorine and water hardness and has a bacteriostatic effect. Helps improve taste and protect appliances from scale.
Water treatment technology: – Reduces water hardness and the content of calcium and magnesium ions that cause scale formation. – Reduces carbonate content by removing calcium and magnesium carbonates.
The filter consists of the following parts: – The first activated carbon filter removes larger particles, chlorine, organic substances and other compounds that worsen the smell and taste of water. – The ion resin filter reduces the carbonate hardness of the water. – A second activated carbon filter removes smaller particles. – The final filter removes particles suspended in the water.
Built-in filter head with adjustable bypass 0-70%; a separate filter head is not required. To ensure bacteriological safety, the filter must be replaced 365 days after installation or when the maximum filtration capacity is reached. The maximum output depends on the carbonate hardness of the water and the bypass setting.

Fill the cartridge with cold water only. Working pressure: 2–6 bar. Connection: 3/8" male thread. Installation and use only in vertical position. Hoses, valves and connecting parts required for installation are not included in the set.
